Answer
One year before I retired after 19 years of teaching, my wife and I took a road trip and spent the night in Illinois with her cousin. The cousin had just become a Big Sister to a streetwise ten-year-old from Chicago. This little sister was running circles around the good-hearted cousin. The cousin asked earnestly, "How do you get a classroom of kids to do your bidding, when I can't even get ONE child to do what I want? This graphic novel is my answer to her.

Stella
After discovering one morning the remains of my beloved cat Sam in my driveway, I decided to adopt a kitten. I named her Stella and, unfortunately, could not keep her. This is the true story of her life after me.

Why Three?
I have written three graphic novels (Translation: I have completed the FIRST DRAFTS of three stories and have yet to figure out how to devote time to bring them along the road to finished product). So, I thought, 'How about finishing some pages or chapter, then posting them?' This process seems to work for me, keeping me focused on a goal of completing pages so that others may see my creations.) Enjoy, and give me feedback!
